Hey guys Im about to get an Eminence Private Jack in the mail to put into my v18 combo. Problem is when I look at the stock speaker and the connections, it feels like the "clips" are soldered onto the terminals. So here are my questions:

1) Is there any way to get the solder off?
2) would I just be better off cutting it off and putting on some new "clips"
3) what should I look for at radioshack, are they called banana clips? Im talking about the connections that run from the 1/4 inch to the positive and neg terminal on the speaker.

terminals look like that but obviously the connectors seem to be soldered onto the terminals

Thanks guys

Most are like that, they're not soldered. Just hanging on really tight, I got the speaker off of my amp with some hefty brute force. Get some elbow grease into it, ;-)
