I need some help. Just moved to SC. In NJ the band I was in had our own PA so mine kinda sat in the basement for a few years unused. It worked great prior to storing it. Now it has a problem and im meeting new people to jam with here and wanted to use it. The issue is it hums really bad. I think the clip light is perpetually on.

Here are the details:
- hums the same regardless of volume settings.
- absoutely no response when turning knobs.
- It is not a high end unit, its a Tosh 6 channel model PA6250

I took it apart to look for anything that may have come loose from the move but i didnt notice anything.

If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thanks!

Joe

my thoughts exactly. could be an issue with the grounding in your new place.

can you try setting it up at a friends house or something?

how do those marshall handles compare tonewise to, say, mesa handles?
