dude, definitely worth it! i'll buy it if you don't!

JEWEDIT: after a little bit of craigslist browsing, i found the same amp a few times, all over 500 dollars. if you buy it and don't like it, you can easily sell it for twice what you paid.

The JCM2000 is modern voiced and the Classic 30 is vintage voiced...they don't compare. Each is a good amp.

hopefully it's in good shape, too. it could have a major flaw, which would make sense. but i hope not, and i cross my fingers for you.

Yeah picking up a DSL for that price is crazy! Good luck, I hope there's nothing wrong with it.

My local GC had one of these in not so excellent condition for $800 a while back. I didn't like it much, but for $200, it might be a different story. And like everyone said, if it works at all, you should be able to turn around and double your money at least if you don't end up keeping it.

YOU MUST BUY AMP NAO!!!! $200 is an AMAZING price for a JCM 2000... you'd be an absolute tool not to buy it

thats an awesome deal but a personal tip, early 401 combos had some problems with overheating that was fixed in later models.

It's better than the Classic 50 imo.

I see. still no reply yet.

this does sound too good so hopefully not a scam.

and yes, I will pick it up locally and test it 1st.

edit: awwww : ( the person just changed the price to $400. I don't wanna pay that much for it. oh well.

Buy it, and if you don't like it, sell it as you'll get a lot more than $200 for it.
