You can tell by the ad that it's cheap and he just wants to get rid of it. I would suggest not buying. Plus, a half stack for $140, just

And from what I've heard, the Deluxe is alright. Solid state though, as is probably that crate. Why not save some and go tube? you'll be glad you did.

What's your budget?
What styles do you play?
What guitar do you have?

That looks to be an older Crate judging by the logo.....

I would email him and ask him for the model number...

A certain older crate solid state amp has been said to be one of the best solid state metal amps you can find.
I've bought, sold, and traded more gear than I care to admit.

B-52 AT112 and Peavey Vypyr Tube 60. Best options out there for loud, low cost tube amps.

Look for an Ampeg VH140C or one of its clones... The one Brendan.Clace is talking about is actually one of them a crate gx130c.

this. i almost bought one off ebay for 300 the other day on buy it now mint condition.
I traded in my Real Books for Robbins and Cotran Pathology Textbooks

I can't really reccomend you an amp unless I know what music your playing.

An Ampeg VH140C would be really nice if your playing hi-gain metal.

Thissssss, if it's a GX130C that's a freakin steal of a price for 140.
I don't give a shit if you listen to me or not

Looked closer at the picture, and it's not a GX130c, but it still an older Crate, which actually did sound good for metal and some other stuff too...might not be a half bad buy at $140..... heck, the cab alone is worth that, and you could just load it with your choice of speakers.....

I've owned a Fender Deluxe 112. The distortion sounds like a Metal Zone. It's not a bad amp for cleans, but for distortion it's fail.
