my band uses all 7 string and stuff, and we write a lot of acoustic parts too, but im tired of using an acoustic pedal cause it just plain doesn't sound right, you know?

Can't find anything. Sorry dude. I think they do make baritone acoustics though. Essentially the same thing, aren't they?

Its not quite the same though

I plan to fit my electric 7 with piezo saddles so it will sound like an acoustic anyway... but still its only a second best measure

Baritone is just a really low tuned guitar.

For 7 string... there was one 7 string signature martin, but I don't remember the name of it. Other than that, it's probably custom.
Equipment:
- Art & Lutherie Cedar CW (SOLD! )
- Martin D-16RGT w/ LR Baggs M1 Active Soundhole Pickup
- Seagull 25th Anniversary Flame Maple w/ LR Baggs Micro EQ

You probably have to go custom which starts at around 3 grand.

the 7 string matin was for roger mcguinn where the D or G strng had an octave so he could do nice lead riffs

i know stefan sobell has made one but we are talking 5 figure price tag there

I think Ibanez used to make one a while back, but stopped...I think I saw someone posted a NGD thread or something about how they bought a 7-string acoustic guitar and everyone was like "Pics or it didn't happen" or something....and he posted pics, and he did indeed have a 7 string acoustic guitar by Ibanez.

Or maybe I was dreaming, I dunno.

Someone made a topic about 7-string acoustic not that long back, and actually went ahead and bought one. There's an Ibanez shop near in town where I live, and they have that 7-string Ibanez acoustic, and for extremely cheap since they know no one probably wants to buy it. I tried it out, no flaws, sturdy (a bit small-bodied though for my tastes). I didn't buy it because there are no 7-string acoustic sets on the market, and I certainly don't want to buy two sets of different gauges every time I restring, just for that seventh string. But I live China, so it's probably no help to you.

george van eps was the "father of acoustic 7 string guitar" in america. perhaps someone makes signature model of his?
