Foo Fighters released an album back in late 2007. Last time i checked, that's a little over a year and half.

50s Bill Haley (rock around the clock the first rock n roll single)
60s Beatles (changed music and influenced youth culture)
70s Led Zeppelin (stadium rock)
80s Van Halen (started in 70s but still influenced most of the hair metal) or a rap band
90s Nirvana (virtually killed off hair metal and arguably changed youth culture)
00s Christ knows, some emo **** probably i dont listen to new music much.

EDIT: What I'm getting at is that Radiohead and Muse are virtually unknown to the general public, save for "Hey! That song's on Guitar Hero!"

You don't hear of people bowing down and worshipping either bands like you do with people like Satch, Les Claypool, Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, or Jason Becker, do you?

The fact is that most people don't listen to any Radiohead past "Creep" and OK Computer. The fact is that "Stockholm Syndrome" is the one song Muse is known by.

I'm not saying that you can't have an opinion, but does it really have to come down to this?
