The intro is very skillfully done. You wouldn't know it was in an odd time.
7 is a great melody
I'm liking 10 except for the annoying snare
On a side note you're trying way too hard to be progressive. 16/16 time? Really? 16/16 = 4/4
25 is a nice return to that cool theme
Nice variation of the theme
Cool keyboard solo
The lead guitar at the end is a little bizzare. I like it, however it's very unfitting for folk music.

Is it finished in terms of lenght? Because it's pretty short. All in all though I like it a lot. Cool progressive elements that go well with the toe tapping folk melodies.

You have some cool melodic ideas, but the piece just did not flow at all. The intro riff was okay, but then when the blastbeating drums come in, it just doesnt fit for me. The transition at bar 10 seems really awkward as well. The big problem with it for me is all of the change in time signature everywhere. It really just results in the piece being all over the place and too chaotic for me.

I like your ideas but i think you should focus more on creating a more flowing coherent piece. Technical does not always equal better

Thanks for the crit, I'll crit your song right away.

and I know that 16/16 is 4/4 but I was probably experimenting with 17/16 timing but thought that 4/4 was better, so i just put 16/16 cause it's closer to 17/16. I'm lazy, I know. Reminds me of a time when I got made fun of for making a song in 8/8.

it was very technical as far as rhythms and time signatures and even though that kind of stuff is revered in the metal community, it seemed a little bit forced.

the drums at measure 10 seemed a little off with the feeling of the melody and the apreggios felt out of place

beyond that it sounded great, i loved the folk melodies, and im always glad to see another folk metal fan on the forums
