What's an easy Amp build I can do? All I need is a schematic.

Should be solid state. At least 1 watt, preferably 1-5. I plan to stick it in a broken mini lunchbox amp i have or even a chair (maybe if i got time+cash). Something small. I wanna find some 6" guitar speakers, but I can't find any. all I can find is 8" ones. need it really cheap as possible.

I'm doing this just because I've been bored lately. I would also think it would be cool to have an amp/thing that I've built on my own.

Thanks.

I'm under the impression that building a tube amp is easier than a solid state amp. Correct me if I'm wrong. It may just pertain to repairs, and not builds. My dad built a solid state headphone amp that I stole and now use to amplify my ipod for when I practice drums. It's super tiny, in a mint tin!

Really? Lol. Do you have a schem for it? That would be cool. And I don't get why a tube amp would be easier to build. Simple solid states are pretty easy looking. all you need is an op amp and some electronics parts, and you're done.

Runoffgroove.com Ruby, Little Gem, etc. Only 1/2 watt, but a good starting point.
Yeah I know what that is. Seemed kinda low wattage to me. Any way to mod it so it's like 1-2 watts? Or can I make an audible headphone amp out of it? Isn't .5 watts only like a person talking? i want it louder than that. Like someone raising their voice and getting angry loud

don't get too hung up on numbers. this is half as loud as a 5 watt amp.

get two LM386 ICs and bridge them.

Of course.

Depends on the efficiency of the speaker.

Then use an efficient speaker.
