Realistic cars you think you'll have or want to have if you don't become rich

1969-1978 Datsun 240Z, 260Z, or 280Z. Either of these three Datsuns will do.

1986-1992 BMW M3

1985-1997 Bentley Turbo R

I have a thing for modern classics. I hope to realistically own all three of these cars at the same time.
Be cool.

i like BMWs.

i also saw a guy with an old jaguar, and he had restored it like it was an old mustang. it was so sexy. better looking than a mustang, i think.

Realistically, if all goes as planned, I should be making six figures by the time I am in my late twenties/early thirties. The Bentley is about $20 000 - 30 000, the M3 is around $15 000, and the Datsun is $5000 - 15 000. So let's just say its about $50 000 for the lot. In terms of affordability with the Datsun and M3, those are relatively cheap fixes and insurance would be reasonable. Older bimmers aren't a problem with maintenance for me since I work on them. Although maintenance and insurance will be expensive on the Bentley, a person making six figures before taxes can still comfortably afford it after the income taxes and all other expenses.
Be cool.

REALISTICALLY, i'd like to own a 1967 ford mustang fastback. i've got a 1970 mustang, but it's not the same.

my top 5 realistic cars would be

1. 1967 ford mustang fastback
2. Mercedes CLS ( a used one, to keep it within the realms of "not rich")
3. Range Rover Sport (used)
4. BMW M3 (used)
5. Porsche 911 turbo (used)

OP, if you think you're being realistic about owning all three of those cars without being rich, then you're retarded.

check the blue book value on those cars. neither will cost more than $25,000

that's cheaper than most economy cars... they are EASILY affordable.

was it an E-type?

I'm pretty lucky in that the cars I want are not cars I'd need to become uber-rich to get. Things like the Zonda, the CCX, the Carrera GT and the Veyron are pretty boring to me.

I'd like to maybe someday own one of these (not ALL of these, just one/maybe two of them would do):

Bricklin SV-1

Triumph GT6 Mark III

Mid-'70s Toyota Celica

Mitsubishi 3000GT/GT0

Mid-'90s Toyota Supra

I could also go for things like late-'60s Mustangs and Camaros - but with American cars, it's mostly Firebirds for me though.

no, although those are nice.

it was some kind of xj. it looked a lot like a mustang, but slightly different. in a really good way. i thought it was a mustang at first.

Are you sure it wasn't one of the mid-'70s Astons? >.>

(Yes, that was just an excuse for some carporn.)

Well, all you can do now is hope all goes according to plan. And hey, if it works, more power to you

A 1966 Ford Mustang I haven't decided between fastback and convertible for, though probably fastback, hot-rodded, preferably either by Jeff Beck or Jay Leno since they're both awesome and have hobbies of collecting and building cars. I doubt I could get to them to have them do so though, so local mechanics will likely do it. As well Ive had an idea for a car company kicking in my head for a while, if that goes through than likely more than a few of their higher-end cars.

everyone has a dream to start a car company. I've got a few various nice model blueprints laid out. i plan on selling the designs eventually to a car company and see if it goes anywhere

Wow, what car is that please? It is beautiful.
You are like a hurricane
There's calm in your eye.
And I'm gettin' blown away

where the feeling stays.
I want to love you but
I'm getting blown away.
