I am looking for a basic chorus pedal. I don't need something that sounds too psychedelic or edgy, just a basic BUT good chorus pedal. I am mainly going to use this for cover songs and possibly a few originals.

Pre-reqs : I don't want something that sounds too digital (think line 6 spider III chorus...puke). I want it to have a "warm", full sound if that makes sense.

Budget: Would like to keep it under 200.

Recommend me away.....!

Or a EHX Small Clone, the big box not the nano.

But it's simple and sounds great, you don't need much more than that.

Edit: Otherwise theres the visual sound H2o

Look for a used Boss CE-2 if you can find one, simple but Awesome chorus.

also look at a ModTone Aqua Chorus (basically a CE-2 clone) and the DeltaLabs Stereo Chorus.

^At a budget of $200, the DeltaLabs (which I own) and the ModTone (which I have played) are a bit crap. The Deltalabs sounds sterile (although good for $60) and the ModTone has a volume drop.

Oh, I didn't see the $200 budget, in that case, scrap the ModTone and DeltaLabs.

I'll give another vote for the Analogman and the Small Clone (NOT nano!)

I personally love the Small Clone. Warm, lush, and simple. That's pretty much exactly what you need. Plus, it's affordable!

the problem witht he nano is that it's not versatile. it does one sound, albeit very well. he need a chorus that can do more than just the small clone sound.

EDIT: 2,000th post FTW

Although most people don't like boss they have always made great chorus pedals IMO. Check out the ce5. I can nail metallica's nothing else matters tone. Don't get the super chorus though. That is crap.
