well, i just bought a bassguitar and have been playing on it a day or 2 (forgetting my guitar for a minute) and i needed to get used to the frets, thickness of the strings and the space between each of the strings. I finally got used to it and then i picked up my guitar again, and i kept missing/skipping the D string in a pentatonic scale!!
So i practised for an hour and it was fine again.

So my question is.. Does it harm my guitar playing if i play bass and guitar with a pick? or does it go away in a while so ill be bale to play both guitar and bass with a pick?

Thanks in advance

practice both and you'll get used to it. / experience

it always takes a couple of minutes to adjust from guitar to bass
