YAY!

2004 Fender MIM HSS Stratocaster, Wine Red. BIG improvement from my Squier, and I got it for $300.

My camera is on the fritz right now, but it looks like this:

EDIT: Forgot to mention, NOT MY PICS. It does look similar though.

The only thing that matters in music these days is money - genuinely talented artists are passed over entirely or corraled into making non-offensive, non-threatening average music that sells.

Happy New Guitar Day!!!

Sweet Guitar.
I love the Red with Rosewood board. Very nice.

300 for a used MIM Strat, a little pricey if you ask me, but not too much...Probably could have gotten it for $250...

I'll second the notion of "Oil that fretboard"

Clean it first.
Ernie Ball Wonder Wipes Fretboard Conditioner...

Remove strings, use the wipe to gently scrub off all the dirt and grime.
Wipe that off with a paper towel.

Apply fairly generous coat of Lemon Oil to the board, let it soak 5-10 minutes.
Wipe off with a clean cloth.

good to go.

you're not gonna want to take a dump in a gross, off-colored, vintage toilet. you want something that is white and pearly; something that shines. something that you can put your cheeks against and say, "f*** yeah"
