I'm in a band, and I'm lead guitarist. We're all pretty young. I'm not very good at solos, so these are some songs I chose that would be easy to play.

METAL
------------
Enter Sandman - Metallica
Crash Course In Brain Surgery - Metallica
The Memory Remains - Metallica
Symphony of Destruction - Megadeth
Hangar 18 - Megadeth
Dread And The Fugitice Mind - Megadeth
Animal I Have Become - Three Days Grace
Last Resort - Papa Roach
Bombtrack - Rage Against the Machine
Killing In The Name Of - Rage Against the Machine
Bulls on Parade - Rage Against the Machine
Sleep Now In The Fire - Rage Against the Machine
Cat Scratch Fever - Ted Nugent, covered by Pantera
You've Got Another Thing Coming - Judas Priest
Breakin' The Law - Judas Priest
Living After Midnight - Judas Priest

ROCK
------------
Moneytalks - AC/DC
Sound of Madness - Shinedown
Zero - Smashing Pumpkins
Slither - Velvet Revolver
Detroit Rock City - KISS
Lick It Up - KISS
Kasmir - Led Zeppelin
Dr. Feelgood - Motley Crue (play without solo)

PUNK
------------
Should I Stay or Should I Go - The Clash
I Fought the Law - The Clash
Christians Inferno - Green Day
Horseshoes and Handgrenades - Green Day
Longview - Green Day
The Grouch - Green Day
Uptight - Green Day
King for a Day - Green Day
Prosthetic Head - Green Day
Blitzkrieg Bop - The Ramones
Rock 'N' Roll High School - The Ramones
Rockaway Beach - The Ramones

I'm sure we'll probably only play like 20 of these.
Gear:
Epiphone G400/L6 Spider III 15
Squier CV J-Bass/Acoustic B20
Misc. pedals

Currently saving for:
Acoustic B200

There's more to punk than Green Day.

You should probably mug John Frusciante or Ritchie Blackmore. They're small guys, we could take 'em.

Just look out for that other guy in the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Will Farrel. He's a tall mofo, got a long reach.

Not sure you can pull of the RATM solos without a DigiTech Whammy Pedal... at least on Killing in the Name Of.
But hey, If your confident that you can play these, go for it!!!

We'll probably skip those solos. No one will notice

Let me re-phrase. I'm giving it a bad rating because of the lack of variety in your punk setlist.

As far as the RATM solos, people will notice. Alot of people. 2 of those songs are on Guitar Hero, which means that more people than usual will know them.

Metal-7.5 Good but I just don't like Rage
Rock-8 solid
Punk-2 and that's just because it was all Green Day except for two.

At least two of those metal bands should be in the rock genre.

(Metal doucheisms on my part aside) Anyways,
If your only going to play 20 songs, drop some of the greenday and I think your set should be solid. Idk whether or not to recommend you play em in that order, but I think you should think the order over one more time before you decide to keep it
