Chop off an ear. If it's good enough for Van Gogh, it's good enough for you.

Why would anybody have GAS for a Valveking?

Their budget tube amps. Their only function is for people to say "Yeah, I have a tube amp." without spending too much money.

That's not doing anything but giving me GAS.

Thinking about it, isn't it better to be GASing for a Valveking then let's say, for a Diezel?

If you develop an ear for tone, you'll go broke! Don't do it, it's a trap!

Besides the JCM800 all those amps are carp IMHO. I cant say for the 3120 cause I haven't tried it.

That's not the worst advice I've ever heard.

How loud did you have the JCM800? You need to get them going a bit to overcome the fizzyness you get at low volumes.

I just went to a show the other night with a couple death metal bands and a band with one guitarist with a valveking half stack sounded twice as big as the next band with two 5150's!

Naturally I tried on next time I was at GC, and was dissapointed.

I would have thought playing a JCM800 would have cured it.

Cured yet? The Soldano's and Orange's already posted should have fixed it.
