hey guys, i run reason 3 on my laptop and lately something really annoying has been going on. when i hit some notes on my midi controller (no matter what patch is loaded) the sound comes out all broken up and stuttering. for example i hit a note that sounds like a crash symbal, well it will almost sound like someone is doing a fast drum roll on the crash.

it happens when i play it live, and even if i record it and play it back,

what is doing this and how do i fix it?

thanks

your cpu/ram might be overloaded. try adjusting your ASIO settings. happens very often when your computer is running out of virtual memory to run the application, resulting in it 'stuttering' to try to slow itself to match up with the computer.
