Yes it is.

I have the V16, and it is great for anything up to heavy metal, awesome cleans and very nice when dirty as well, even at lower volumes. You can find them cheap too, mine was probably the best $150 I could possibly spend on an amp.

You would definitely need an OD or Distortion pedal for teh br00t4lz though.

Never used that pedal, but the amp does take pedals well, so it should sound as good as the pedal is.
