I'm listening to the YouTube videos right now. I'm only on Man in the Sky, but you guys sound pretty cool!!! I'm loving the vibe I'm getting.

Thanx, Man in the Sky was one of the first songs I wrote. The opening riff has always been one of my favorites \m/(^.^)\m/
That version of the song was the first time we played it as a band, so it's far from perfect...our singer, for instance, didn't know the lyrics very well :\

Yeah, I listened to some of the others. Solid stuff. I like your singer, but all of you are solid. The instrumental is pretty neat too. Did you write all the songs? They all groove pretty well.

I didn't write all of them, but they are all originals.
I wrote Man in the Sky, The Belltower(instrumental), and the music for Drifting.
Our Singer wrote Heartbroken.
Our Drummer wrote I'm going to a party, and the lyrics for Drifting.
I'm not crazy about doing covers, so I try to make the band do original stuff whenever it's possible.

Alright, bumping this because Rain Falls Up played it's first gig last night, and Shaggy Shadric wanted me to post a link to the vids of the performance. So here's a youtube playlist of the performance. http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=B522114167A9072F

The music was sounding good, but your stage presence was a bit lacking, especially the singer. Being that it was your first gig and all, you have a whole career to improve on that as a band, but it was a little uncomfortable.

Yeah, as it was our first gig, I'm not surprised we weren't that good with our stage presence. I'm pretty sure the only people with actual experience playing in a small band was our drummer and our lead guitarist. Me and the vocalist had performed in larger groups (20+ people) before, but the rhythm guitarist hadn't ever performed onstage before. Got any tips to help us improve?

Thanx for the vote of confidence -_-
That was the band's, and my first live gig, so understandably it wasn't perfect.
I like to think of myself as more of a "co-lead" kinda guitarist, especially since I have a pretty wicked solo in the belltower :P
