I've noticed many guitarists I've met really have terrible vibrato, who do you think has the best vibrato technique you've heard?

I think Santana, Al Di Meola, Frank Gambale

Varg/J Mascis/GG Allin are all the same person.

There are two types of people in this world: people who like Bolt Thrower, and people who suck.

Death by diamonds and pearls.
David Gilmour = tasteful vibrato
"Could I have egg, sausage, chips and beans, and a tea." - Nick Mason

His vibrato is second-to-none. He phases it in, rather than just ragging the string about like a moron.

You're right, though; a lot of people don't realise how important good vibrato is.

The Killswitch Engage guys have surprisingly good vibrato....the solo in Never Again has some amazing vibrato..

and obviously Marty Friedman, Petrucci is perfection in all ways, Per Nilsson has sweet vibrato aswell.

B.B. King ?

I saw him last month, his was pretty good. Wasn't so sure about his tone though.
I'd go with Satch, he makes it sound really mellow, and not like he's bending the string up and down.

Zakk Wylde has a good vibrato, I believe so anyway

Your last job only paid you $7.00 AUD an hour? That's like $6.05 in the US. What the hell is the minimum wage over there?

"You Were a Mistake!" - Mum

slash hands down, and the cool thing is he doesn't always use it, sometimes not using vibrato actually sounds cooler when done right

Geez, David Gilmour!

The obvious answer!
Other than that Jason Becker, and as much as I dislike him, Malmsteen has a very nice vibrato.
