You should be very concerned.


But no really, pop the pickguard/back plate off, and see if the jack is bent. If so, gently bend it back

Physics actually, with temperature change metals expand or shrink. If jack socket expands - its easier to get plug out. And to force noticeable "shrinking" of jack, so it would be hard to get plug out, temperature should be way below 0C (my guess around -30C).

Imho, jack got somewhere bent a bit, thus it is harder to plug out. Just ignore it, and if it breaks - jack cost 1-3euro so i it is not a biggie to get a new one.
