Hey guys, I've been fighting with an old kahler spyder on my peavey for a day or so now. It works great when it's working, but I changed string gauges again so setting it up again has been a pain. The big issue though is that when I bend the g string it gets muted and looses all sustain.

The guitar has active pickups and as mentionted a kahler tremolo, I've looked it over and I'm about to just take it to someone, any suggestions as to a home style fix though?

it sounds like the action is too low and the string is choking out against the frets.try raising the action
