I'm spending 150 euros tops. The main purpose of this purchase is to learn to play the piano. Any suggestions or things i should know about, or any particular model or brand you can recommend? How many keys/octaves should it have? And what does "touch response" mean?

Thank you very much for any help
New track on soundcloud.com/ahlers or on my profile.
Feedback much appreciated.

A full-size piano has 88 keys. You'll probably get a 67 key keyboard or something around that size. Touch response means that the keyboard is sensitive to touch, like a real piano is. The harder you press, the louder the sound, etc.

Touch response means the harder you play, the louder the volume. You really need that.

They'll probably be out of your price ranger, but if you can find anything with weighted or semi-weighted keys, that would be great. That means that the keys will be harder to push and feel more like a real piano, rather than just giving way to every force that pushes down.
No animals were harmed in order to bring you the above post. However, several photons were greatly inconvenienced.
