Make sure it follows the kind of music you play, or is some kind of variation of your real name.

Corpsegrider is a great stage name if you're in Cannibal Corpse but not of you're in Franz Ferdinand. What kind of music do you play?

What about Richard Fitzwell?
Or to further simplify, D!ck Fitzwell?

Very lame....

But ok.

Seeing a guitarist named Squirtle ripping out insane leads is anything but lame.

And you think people thought Slash was a cool name when he first brought it out?

I'm really not the kind of person that cares about being lame when's it's so late at night, and I'm really very tired but can't fall asleep. So Squirtle will be a good stage name. And pokemon used to be awesome

I am not reporting you dood, but I think this might be better intended for "the pit" or maybe a bandleading forum.

WTF?!

Part of me is only keeping this open for the comedic value. What do you expect, really, with a thread that is effectively, "Give me a name."

These answers are making me feel like I'm in the Pit. I don't like to feel like I'm in the Pit. It makes me feel icky.

This thread was not reported. I just stumbled upon it. You know.... hanging around here as I am prone to doing. I'll keep it open in the event that some useful responses come out of the woodwork, but I seriously don't have high hopes.

If it continues to feel like the Pit, I'll move it there.
