when strumming or picking, keeping your little finger on the body of the guitar. 'keeping' it there = 'anchoring'

...sorta.
You're = You are
Your = Belongs to you

There = Not here
Their = Belongs to them
They're = They are
Thx.

When you have a dependency on resting part of your picking hand/arm on the guitar body in order to play..
you have an anchoring problem.

clear this up, anchoring is when you keep part of your picking hand on the guitar and DONT move it. Guitarists like MAB and Kris Norris keep their picking hand on the guitar, but they move it, it is not stationary. This is not anchoring.

Check the sticky out. No one ever looks at them, but a good 50% of questions on this forum could be answered if you used the searchbar or looked at the stickies.
