So I have my money in the bank, and it appears im losing more then Im making. So I decided to pull it all out and go on a spending spree on whatever. I plan on selling the Classic 30. Now, to whats most important. What type of amp should I get? Id like a stack, but I dont want a large cab, just a small one.

Music I play most:
AC/DC
Ozzy
Eric Johnson
Van Halen
Metallica.

I have an Epiphone silverburst Les Paul. Im assuming I should get a British voiced amp, and was looking into Orange. I don't know really, though. Also, I can go used, but I really don't wanna go broke.

Yeah. But I hear the 800, 900, and 2000 all have different "time era" tones. Will the 800 be good?

The jcm800 will be the best bet for those artist. IMO the jcm800 is better overall than a 900 or 2000

The 800 is the classic metal amp...but they aren't exactly low volume amps...here is what the forum members said to me when I asked them about the different JCM voicings:
