Hello again forum users...

I need a little help picking out a nice cheap amp for myself until my birthday in december i went down to guitarcenter today and they had a few cheap amps thats in my budget which is 80 dollars.

the MARSHALL MG15DFX 8.0-60$

Or should i just fork up an extra 20$ and get this peavey RageIII 115
I'd have to wait another month to get it but if you think its worth the wait lemme know.

The Genre I'd play would be like all that remains so like metal or somethin...
wrong section. Close this and post in the Guitar Gear & Accessories section
+1 on the GGA comment.

But what I'll say is that common consensus is that you should avoid the Marshall MG like you would a Line 6 Spider III
build 1, finished 1/15/11

Every time I try to pick it up like falling sand,
As fast as I pick it up,
it runs away through my clutching hands.
There's nothing else I can really do...
Peavey Vyper please

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

Randall for the win when it comes to SS amps IMO.
