I know that Ibanez makes a cheap knockoff Jem to compete with counterfeit Jems that aren't anywhere near the quality of the actual Jems. Is this one?

Looks like it is legit to me, just a store selling a used guitar. I have a friend that lives in Hackettstown, I'll ask him if he knows the local guitar shops.

Ask for a model number and then compare the pictures he has of the guitar to ones of other Jems. After that is done, play it and see if it plays like heaven.

I'm not xD, my RG550 serves me too well. You could always arrange a meet. Someone selling this would want the money anyways, not much buyers out there on North Jersey. NYC is a competition, since everyone can meet everyone anywhere.

Yeah, the Edge Pro looks legit, and it does come with the original PuP.

If anything, you can pass on the PAF over here

That is definitely an edge pro. The Chinese ones have these crappy lo-profile licensed floyds that leave more room around the edges of the routing and SCREAM "cheap!!!" when you see them.

Believe it or not, they usually go for $1200-1800 used last i checked if you're lucky.

and generally look different http://i45.photobucket.com/albums/f100/JamieMason/Picture134.jpg

Thats not a swirl. Thats what the industry refers to as a 'puke'

Time on earth is like butterscotch; you really want more, even though it will probably just make you ill.
