I always Wondered. If theres a big four of Thrash Metal, who is the big four of The New Wave of British Heavy Metal???

I was thinking, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Judas Priest and ????
What do you think????

someone'll probably say Def Leppard. but I'd say there's a big 3 of NWOBHM, the three you mentioned

actually are Judas Priest part of that or not? coz they started 1969 and I wouldn't put them in with that.

This.

I think all the British metal bands I listen to pre-date the whole NWOBHM thing tbh, other than Iron Maiden, it's less the NWOBHM, more old British metal than should be considered, all the stuff through the 60's, 70's and 80's
