Hey all, am looking into a decent not over the top price wise delay pedal, mainly analog for that warm feel. I am aiming for the classic rock tones, and blues tones. It'll be going through a Fender HRD with a boutique overdrive pedal.

I've cut it down to either:

Ibanez DE7:

OR

Marshall EchoHead:

Any suggestions advice most appreciated!

Neither are analog. If you're wanting an analog delay, check out the Electro-Harmonix Memory Toy.

Check out the EHX Memory Boy or Memory Toy, depending on which features you want. They're better than the Carbon Copy and less expensive too.

You'll find whisky very different, but try it and you'll grow into it, soon you and whisky are one, but still two, lovers dancing across a frozen lake under moonlight, wrapped in honey and warmth.

they are one of the best delay I have ever used and cost the same as the CC (which sux). Alot of peeps still dont' know about this as an option for their delay needs, that is if you aren't looking for a whole bunch of wierd **** in your delays

hey!
The Carbon Copy admittedly isn't the best for the price, but it doesn't suck.

The Boss Delay pedal is pretty good, though it's expensive and I'm pretty sure it's not analog. But if by miracle you get rich by the time you buy one... that's the way to go.

Try a Boss RE-20 - it's digital, but it's designed to sound just like the original Space Echo and it doesn't do a bad job.
