It seems like i keep having to come to UG to help me with my decision making, but so far its worked out well...
so here it is

i have 2500 to spend and i need

a decent amp
versatile guitar that is reliable
and effects

i was looking at a peavey valve 50w tube for the amp, and that would leave roughly 2 grand for a guitar and effects, but im open to suggestions.

note: i am 10 min away from this guitar shop, so if you can recommend something from there, that would be convenient

Thanks again!

what model amp is that tube amp?

you're not gonna want to take a dump in a gross, off-colored, vintage toilet. you want something that is white and pearly; something that shines. something that you can put your cheeks against and say, "f*** yeah"

So, not everyone on here is from the same country, but I'll assume you're talking US dollars. In this case, you should spend about a grand on your amp, $800 on the guitar, and $250 on effects. Also, tell us what genres you would like to play, whether you would like to go used, what country you live in, and whether you'll be gigging.

Get a Charvel So-Cal(Sweet guitar $1099) and any decent amp

Korean Floyd Rose? Forget about it. He's better off getting a Carvin ST300C.
Same look as the san dimas with better quality parts and better craftsmanship.
Original Floyd rose.
and neck through!
or a Bolt Plus if he wants it to be a bolt on.

If you're going to get a valve king. Get the 2x12 or don't get it at all. The 1x12 is extremely thin sounding and regardless of that they both have terrible speakers.

As for your guitar you really should consider a custom shop carvin.
Will only run you 1-1.5K and it will be the best instrument you ever play.
Just think about it. Your own custom specs made just for you with options like
Stainless steel frets
original floyds
any wood you can dream of
the finest guitar craftsmanship known to man
all custom made for you right in the USA!

as a vk owner ther`s nothing wrong with it, your trying to compare a budget tube amp with top of the range and boutique amps, the vk is as far as i`m aware the only tube amp in its price range that offers both class A and A/B functionality.

as for spending 2.5K

firstly shop around. heres what i bought for 2.5k- jem7v,vk212 and a satchurator.
