Has anyone ever played guitar on the moon or in space yet???

and if not ... what the hell was Armstrong thinkin.....

Would the guitar just automatically freeze like in the movies or something like that???

and if this were to ever happen....

which song do you think would be played???

acoustic/electric??? or..... a specially developed space guitar lolz.....

The Moon's atmosphere is about a billion times thinner than Earth's. The sound would be very poor. And of course in space there is no sound at all.

Well, near zero gravity = lower friction, so shredding would'nt be hard.

um.
the song would be 'Surfing with the Alien'

It'd certainly be hard to get used to...I'd be overshooting notes like crazy.

Too bad none of this would work as there is no air in space for the sound waves to travel through.

Ok, what exactly can we make threads on then? What threads (other than the "Official" threads) are thread material and not blog material?

JFC!

The way the OP was phrased, it sounded like a spam/stupid topic idea. Ask yourself, does sitting around and talking about how Neil Armstrong should have been playing guitar in space constitute an entire thread on the subject?

The pit is mainly for entertaining, seriously it has no other function, and this thread entertained me for .2 seconds.

Good enough for me.
