hey, so ive written some fun riffs and stuff, but everytime i try to make it into a song my drummer cant play any beats that work.

so we try it backwords, drummer first . but then i cant think of anything fun on the spot!

so, i was wondering... rather how i could make this work. or some good software that i could make the beat for it, show it to my drummer, and away we go!

thanks! this is my first time posting out of " electric guitar " and i dunno if this is the right place... i hope so

There are easier ones, I suppose, but they're not nearly as flexible. Download some Guitar Pro tabs from some of the more popular bands you listen to and they'll probably have drum tracks in them. You can look at that to get a gist of how it's notated.

if your drummer cant write something hes clearly an idiot. its not hard lol unless your writin riffs in 13/8

Yeah, if you're drummer can't arrange drums for a song (assuming it's not in a weird time signature or something) he probably isn't any good.

Encouraging the use of illegal software is against the rules. Providing 'customer support' for illegal software is therefore against the rules. That's where this is going.

Buy you software, supporting people who create things, and then come and ask for help.
