I found a pretty sexy looking guitar at a pawn shop for $600. According to the guy trying to sell it to me, it's from the late 60's. It has the word "Imperial" on the headstock and says that it was made in Japan on the back. I tried searching for it online and I've come up with virtually nothing. Can anybody tell me anything about this guitar?

I do believe you just used Blink 182 and hard rock in the same sentence. It would seem you're rather confused.
I have a quote in my signature! And it makes fun of blink-182! I'm cool now!

I'm pretty confident that doesn't say Imperial on the headstock Anyway was it something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Japan-IMPERIAL-Electric-Guitar-Teisco-Kawai_W0QQitemZ220454876398QQcmdZViewItemQQimsxZ20090720?IMSfp=TL090720164006r30438

Anyway from here they were made between 1963 and 1970 and since they don't have a large fan base I would say their is next to nothing about them.
I found this. It's not much to go on though.

Imported to US by Imperial Accordion Company, Chicago, USA. Early guitars by Crucianelli, Italy then production switched to Japan.

I can't see it being worth $600 but that's my opinion.

Sorry azn, I didn't see your link.
