My is experimenting with tunings on our 7-strings trying to decide on which one we like best. Now, before i played a 7, I always played in drop tunings. If we randomly decided to write a song in drop tuning, what are some cool things we could do with the tuning of the seventh string?

Try Drop G# thats fun all strings down a half a step and the Low B dropped 2 and a half steps

Or drop A low b dropped 1 step

i tune to drop B with a 7. yes drop B, requires .008's. (low to high) B Gb B E A C# F#

I sometimes tune to Bb Standard, Drop A, A Standard. i cant go really low cuz my pickups cant handle it
