I'm looking for some epic speed metal tunes...you know, the ones that are like 10 minutes long.

Preference goes to instrumentals if possible, though I'm good with lyrics so long as the singer is good.

Any suggestions?

EDIT

After reading the recommendation thread, I think what I'm looking for would be better classified as power and/or prog metal. Something along the lines of DragonForce or Dream Theater (though with less emphasis on the techno/keyboard stuff and more on guitar).

The main reason I'm looking for epics in these genres is to study them. I've been trying to write an epic instrumental for ages, but it usually comes out more like Metallica's new Suicide and Redemption, only more repetitive...if you can imagine that.

it is by no means long, but is epic especially toward the end. post some tabs if you try to figure it out.

or

pretty much anything by protest the hero is epic, but not long

some one already took white walls which would be awesome, probably more of what you were originally thinking...

Crimson by Edge of Sanity. It's epic. Like, 43 minutes long epic.

Are all of you missing the whole speed metal thing? Instead of crap like BTBAM give him some good, speed metal epics.

Speed Metal Symphony is not worth repeat listens.

Ninja is a good song, from what I recall... All my Cachophony seems to have vanished from my computer at some stage.

Dude, **** yeah, epic as hell. You ever had the pleasure of seeing them live?

As for epic, try any Stratovarius. epic indeed. Also, Nightwish, and Savatage has a few that are pretty epic.
