Hi guys

I have PRS Tremonti SE and Marshall DSL 401. I hear a lot of noise/hum/ring.
The grounding is OK.
When I disconnect the guitar cord from guitar side, the noise remains.
But when I disconnect the cord from Amp side, the noise stops.
Does it mean the cord is producing the noise? Should I change it?

Thanks

seems like thats the problem
if a differnet cable dont make it stop somethings wrong with your amp

...And if it's the cable, what brand should I buy to avoid such noise.
(Currently I'm using the stuck cable that comes with the guitar)

Just wanted to give you the feedback:
I bought a "Evidence audio Lyric HG" and about 90% of the noise is gone

Those cheap cables they give you with a guitar are cheap junk for the most part. I usually just throw it away. Go invest in a decent cable.
