so, i've noticed alot that dallas green, guitarist/singer from alexisonfire writes quite a bit about short stories and such...

anyone recommend some good short stories that could influence some good lyrics?

J. D. Salinger's short stories are really good, far better than Catcher IMO. "A Perfect Day For Bananafish" and "Just Before The War With The Eskimos" are great ones. Also, Kurt Vonnegut has some great short stuff.
