Is there any thing i can do to keep my tremelo arm from breaking in my strat.
It happened to me once and the tip was left inside the guitar.
I think i posted this in the right place if not sorry
What are some of your first jam experiences with a band?
We all couldn't stay in time and I ended up killing 4 people and a bass player.

I've never seen anyone break a tremolo bar. Maybe you are wanking on it WAY too hard. Under no circumstances should you be pulling on the bar hard enough to break it.

There isn't really a whole lot you can do. My advice would be not to "abuse" the tremolo arm when you use it. Use it for what you need, but don't try making it go farther than the bridge will let it.
Main Setup:
Charvel So-Cal

Dunlop Volume
Digitech Tuner
Custom Compressor
VFE Blues King
Ibanez TS9 30th Anniv
Boss DD20
Boss NS2
MXR 10 Band EQ
Hardwire Supernatural
Loop-Master 2 Channel Looper

Mesa Single Rec

I'd say remove or adjust some of the springs so you don't have to pull as hard on the trem arm. But your guitar might go out of tune more easily, I'd imagine.
