The amp would be used for small gigs only, such as at bars. I play mostly hard rock such as Zeppelin, Rush, and Steppenwolf, and I play some blues rock, such as Cream. Should I get a half stack, or just a combo amp? What amp would you suggest?
Amps:
Fender Frontman 15r

Guitars:
Epiphone Dot Studio
Squier Strat

Pedals:
Crybaby Original Wah
Boss DS-1

You could try to score an Orange Tiny Terror combo used, or a Vox Night Train.

But isn't the NT a head?

EDIT: Ya it is a head. Would it be fine with the Epi Valve Junior cab?

Peavey Classic is your best bet. A Marshall DSL 401 is also something to look into. An Orange Tiny Terror, Vox Night Train, Engnator Rebel, all are great amps for bar gigs because you can crank them for those really "earthy" tones without blowing the audience away.
