not like a hum.
it sounds like,
when you dont have a guitar connected
and you hold on the the cable.
and the guitar is really quiet.
because its being drowned out by this noise.
any suggestions?

he means the wiring of your house.

sometimes, a bad wiring job in your house can lead to some hum in your amps.
