I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forums to post! sorry if this is not!

Okay! my guitar has been building up a lot of dust and skin on the fret board... I'm worried. I'm about to change the strings! It seems really moldy on the fret board... what's the best way to clean it and any special products needed?

if it's any wood apart from Maple and theres a lot of buildup,

1. Use a ruler and carefully scrape off as much of the gunk as you can
2. Apply lemon oil to the fretboard, leave it for a few minutes then remove all the leftover gunk

For Maple I'm not really sure past NOT USING LEMON OIL

if you don't know how to set up a guitar, you might not want to take all the strings off at once.

and use dunlop fretboard cleaner or similar on rosewood.

no need to worry, you hardly have to clean a board at all.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.
