Hi, my friend has a Mesa Boogie Single Rectifier Solo Head (50 watts I think). And currently I have a B-52 AT112 Combo (60 watts).

And I just want to try the head to see what it sounds like. So would it be possible to hook up the Mesa Single Rec. Head to my B-52 speaker?

It wouldn't hurt anything right? Cause the watts of the speaker is higher, and I can just match the Ohms on the back.

Thanks (=

Yea, as long as the Ohms match I don't see a problem

Gotta make sure that the combo amp speaker ohms and head ohms match- check the fine print on your combo's "head" to see what the ohms are. On my marshall it says in fine print on the back
