Ive been playing electric guitar for four years, and I just recently started to like acoustics. I went and tried some out at guitar center, but I really don't know which brands are good. I dont want anything over 400 dollars, but then I dont want a piece of ****. Something that plays nice. Any suggestions?

Vintage V300 guitars are very good for the price, its an award winning guitar. There might be a Takamine or two in your price range. Im not sure but maybe a Taylor Baby or something? Im not sure about the Taylors though.

Look at Takamine, Alvarez, Seagull, Washburn, Art & Lutherie, Blueridge, Yamaha.

The best acoustic under $400, IMO, is the Seagull S6 Original.
