So I was looking at the Boss RC-20 at a music store today, and after I learned how to basically use it a little, I liked what I saw. But I was wondering something:

The tap tempo thing kind of got on my nerves a lot, but lets say I have a drum machine (completely seperate piece of equipment) and I have it going at exactly 110 beats per minute playing a drum beat. Obviously I could sync it together easy with something like a synth like a microkorg because I can set the tempo at 110 bpm too, but if I created a loop on the guitar with the RC-20, it seems to me like if I tried to make it sync perfectly at 110 bpm, it would be nearly impossible and eventually it would get out of sync. Could the loop station be able to play a perfectly matching tempo so that the guitar riff wouldn't eventually get out of sync?
