which would be better to use because when i use my gadget pedal distortion it's to loud but when i use my amp distortion i can hear the exact tune of me guitar and i can adjust the tone of the distortion but which is much better

you already answered your own question. think about it. go with what sounds best to you. generally speaking, amp distortion will be better than pedal distortion (depending on the amp and pedal in question, of course).
