I bought one of these little ****ers

And it broke on me the next day. I changed the battery and it worked, then it broke AGAIN.

Then, my friend gave me his, the same one because he bought a new pedal. Well, he had it for a few months, and his worked, so I figured mine was just defective. Well, I got it home and it worked, and the next day it wasn't working. Am I missing something? I can't figure out whats the deal.

are you using the correct battery type? are the batteries full?
is it a sign from the guitar gods that you shouldnt use that pedal?
there also probably have a faulty connection open it up and solder it back

Yes, a 9 Volt. I'd say it's the last thing you said. And if not, the one before that.

Holy hell that sucks. I once had a cheap amp that fell apart piece by piece. I mean literally, the glue and **** just came apart, and one day I was gonna play a show, and the day before it completely fell apart. I had to borrow my friend's amp for the show because it was my only amp.

It's a POS. Get rid of it and get a new amp if you're not happy with your gain.

Well that's kinda ironic considering that I own a Digitech Metal Master.

First you put your pants on your head.
Second you dance.
Third you wipe off all the pussy.

It's all SMD so unless you're a complete genius at soldering, don't bother.
