Should've thought to post this sooner, but the competition runs 'til the end of the year. So no worries. Apply here .

Mine's a 35" maple/walnut thro' neck 5 string, with an alder body and English walnut top. If I win... How about yours? If you win...

I'm going to allow this because you're in no way affiliated with Overwater Basses. Also Overwaters are sexy as hell

Wicked.

Being a j-bass guy, I definitely have to go for that.
As vintage as possible, with the added wonderful workmanship and custom inlays, etc.

Mmmmm......

I want to win. Badly.

Apologies, I didn't realise that there would be a potential issue. Thanks for letting it ride, tho'.

I have decided mine!

Progress Series III Deluxe 5 string w/ quilted maple top- £2395
French Violet tint- £170
Ebony fretboard with yellow tinted maple binding- £120
Matched headstock- not sure if that's standard on the Progress, but it shows a matched headstock on the progress and doesn't mention Progress availability on the price list
Contrasting truss rod cover (yellow tinted quilted maple)- £50
Contrasting pickup covers (yellow tinted quilted maple) - £230
Gold plated hardware- £50
Straplocks- £15

So at the moment that's £3030

However, I want something special for the neck and body wood. I want me purpleheart wings, and a yellowheart/purpleheart/yellowheart neck with dark wood veneers layers. Too bad they don't list what woods they have. If I can get that for the last £470, I'll be happy. I just want something that represents 30 years of top shelf bass production to look regal.

Do they show the lists of top woods you can have anywere. Honestly i would still prefer a shuker, but if i do win im going crazy and ill make its worth that free 3500.

Even if I didn't want it, if I won it, I'd keep it. Selling it on just seems... wrong to me.

It could get stolen >.>

I'm entering. Couldn't hurt. I'd feel kinda bad if I, not the most committed of bass players (primarily a guitarist) won and all of you hardcore chaps didn't.

But then I'd feel really awesome.

Edit: How long after entry does it take to recieve the email?
The UG Awards exist only to instill me with existential doubt.

For me, the 60's ended that day in 1978...
