Hi.

I recently watched the movie Zero Day, a fictional movie based on the Columbine shootings.

Somewhere in there the blond kid plays this guitar which is twelve-stringed but also has smaller strings on it elsewhere that vibrate harmoniously when one of the main strings is played.

Does anybody know what this is called? It's clearly not a conventional guitar...

Possibly a sitar? EDIT: attached to a 12 string.

^ Isn't a harp guitar more of just having a guitar with a harp on for coolness?

Maybe the price tag is clouding your judgment ?
yeah probably. Or the circuits.

I was under the impression that all 12 strings were like that?

Where they were played like normal six strings, except there were smaller strings underneath that were of a higher octave than the main strings?
