im starting a pedal board... i got $200 to start....what should i invest in, i want to start with a really nice solo tone, i play mostly hardrock and metal, and my band is a somewhat alternative rock band, me being lead, ummmm my solos are mostly modified pentatonics which are quick... help! i love u

TS808+ Boss Chorus= Bitchin' solo tone.
And throwing in some MXR Carbon Copy/ Vox Wah adds something.

+1 And also if you don't know what pedals you want then don't buy any until you have an understanding of how you want to sound and what you can do to achieve that.

if you have a spider get a new amp first brah. After that get a jekle and hyde or a cool cat drive/transparent overdrive
