I was just listening to Yesterday and Fly me to the moon... I cried... just wondering if anyone would like to share any songs they have strong emotional connections with or if the melody is just beautiful... or sad... that made you cry along with it... as the emotions flowed into your ears...

little boy blue and the man in the moon.

but we'll get together then, son.

A lot of Pink Floyd, specifically though: Wish You Were Here, Shine On, Coming Back to Life, and High Hopes.

Never cried because of a song, but I've come close from Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley. And 10,000 Days Wings Part 2 by Tool (really powerful song, imo.)
Begin again in the night, let's sway again tonight.

I saw a live rendition of Pink Floyd's "Great Gig in the Sky" and I am pretty sure half of the audience was openly weeping during the 10 minute standing ovation.

The Great Gig In The Sky-Pink Floyd.....that chick doesn't say a single word but her vocal is one of the most powerful and moving things Ive ever heard. I teared up from it a couple times.

I'm sorry... not sure... the variation was sorta sad... I sorta cry to hold on by good charlotte (sorry), Hotel California sometimes also, Punch me I bleed and Everytime I die by Children of Bodom. Stairway to heaven sometimes . I can't really name a bunch on the spot sorry. Even classical pieces like Fantasie Impromptu. I guess the fly me to the moon melody is pretty sometimes, especially late at night.

EDIT: sorry for putting in metal songs... maybe even Razor Blade Salvation by Sinergy... the solo is pretty sad.

EDIT2: I also... heard Cat's in the cradle again... I haven't really listened to it on purpose just on the radio... it is quite sad, even more so once you understand the lyrics.

EDIT3: House of the rising sun... really sad too...

Rake - Townes Van Zandt
Where Did You Sleep Last Night - (Nirvana Version)
BERLIN - LOU REED ( I CRIED FOR AN HOUR AFTER LISTENING TO THE ENTIRE ABLUM. "THE BED" GOT ME GOOD)
