i dont know about the single coil, but the PAF is a great combo with any other high output pickup

EDIT: i didn't read his placement, yeah, the PAF should be in the neck

Switch around the neck and bridge pickups. A Super Distortion will probably be much more powerful than the PAF Pro, which is generally bad. And if you use your neck pickup for solos and leads, a PAF Pro in that position would probably sound better.

lol, no. don't put the heat at the neck, put it at the bridge.

i'm confused. did TS edit where he was placing PU's? b/c he does have the PAF in the neck.

neways, yes, PAF in the neck is a winner. I don't like the super distortion, but you obviously do, sooo... cool. it's where it needs to be too.

that is a good combo

if you want noiseless single coil instead, I would go for the Dimarzio HS-3
